To install concealed hinges without a jig, start by marking the hinge positions on the cabinet door and frame. Use a template or measure carefully with a ruler to ensure alignment. Next, drill pilot holes for the hinge cup using a Forstner bit, typically 35mm. Attach the hinge to the door first, then align it with the cabinet frame. Secure it with screws, checking for even spacing and proper fit. Adjust the hinge screws for the desired alignment. Patience and precision are key to achieving a professional result without a jig.
